1. General information concerning data protection

The Internet portal of D.LIVE GmbH & Co. KG is primarily a marketplace for the performance of transactions. Even though a large amount of information is also available to anonymous users, it is sometimes necessary for us to acquire data from you, which can either be company related or of a personal nature, so that you can receive the desired services.  Your data is protected in our systems in compliance with the internationally applicable data protection standard, the data protection directive of the European Union and the national data protection regulations. We want you to be able to trust in responsible and confidential treatment of your data. Encryption procedures are used for the secure transfer of payment data. This means that the communication between your browser and our system cannot be read by other Internet users. The use of personal data only takes place for the purposes which are expressly stated in these data protection provisions or during the subsequent gathering of data.

Our websites may contain links to websites of other providers. Since we are not responsible for their content, we would recommend that you read their data protection information carefully.

When requesting contents from our Internet service, data is always recorded about this process in a protocol file (for example name of the requested file, date/time, transferred data quantity). We use this to monitor the user behaviour of the entire website. However, merger of this information with data concerning individual users does not take place without prior express consent. D.LIVE GmbH & Co. KG breaks down the entire usage statistics in accordance with the domain name of the user, the type of browser and the MIME type through which this information from the browser string (the information contained in the browser of each user) is read out. We monitor and catalogue the search terms entered by the users in search engines, however this traceability is never connected to individual users.

Furthermore, we use so-called session cookies. The purpose of these is the optimisation of communication times when web queries are received. It is also generally possible to use our service without cookies however, this may lead to restrictions in case of individual applications. Cookies are not used to create personal usage profiles.

In order to gather and use anonymous usage data for the purpose of usage-based online advertising, we also use cookies with a 180-day lifecycle. No personal information is recorded during this process, in particular no IP addresses. These cookies are from service providers. You are free to delete the cookies at any time, either directly or in the browser.

Should you have further questions or comments concerning our data protection concept or wish to have your personal data blocked for a specific purpose of use, please contact us at the following email address: datenschutz(at)d-live.de.
