Laurent Petit joined EVS in 2010 as Product Manager of the Video Server family. After taking various positions in Product Management, he has been appointed SVP Products & Solutions in 2020. In his new role, he is leading the transformation of the EVS portfolio from products to solutions, with a specific focus on Live Broadcast Production. Laurent started his career in 1996 as a research engineer in the Microelectronics Laboratory of the University of Louvain-la-Neuve (UCL). In 2001, he moved to Barco where he held various functions from development engineer to product manager, specializing in the field of video compression.

Laurent is civil engineer (orientation electronics and telecom) from the University of Louvain-la-Neuve.
